ORGANISATION SCAN
For cultural organisations and teams who want to step back, take stock and determine what the next step could be.
Cultural organisations are constantly on the move: new ambitions, changing audiences, new team members, financial pressure and changing policies — all while the day-to-day work continues. But sometimes it is important to step out of that daily reality and take a closer look:
Where are we today? Does the way we work still serve us? Are our ambitions and resources in balance? And are we still the organisation we want to be?
The Organisation Scan offers a structured and independent perspective on the organisation as a whole.
We look at areas including mission and identity, artistic or content vision, organisational culture, team and leadership, structure and ways of working, communication and positioning, partnerships and networks, entrepreneurship and resources, impact and future resilience.
The Organisation Scan can be valuable when an organisation:
is entering a new strategic or policy period;
wants to revisit its mission, vision or positioning;
is growing and feels that its structure needs to evolve;
is experiencing changes in leadership or team composition;
wants to improve collaboration, communication or ways of working;
needs to bring ambitions and available resources into better balance;
would benefit from an independent outside perspective.
The scan is not an audit and not an employee assessment.
It is a moment to step out of the daily operation, bring different perspectives together and make visible the organisation's strengths, tensions, opportunities and areas for development.
The aim is not to tell an organisation how it should work.
It is to gain greater clarity about where the organisation is today, where it wants to go and what the most relevant next steps could be.
The Organisation Scan combines individual input, analysis and a deeper conversation with the team or organisation based upon 3 layers, 10 dimensions and 50 questions.
First clarity. Then direction. Then action.
THE SCAN IS THE STARTING POINT
The Career Scan is built around the same simple idea:
First clarity. Then direction. Then action.
The scan brings structure to questions that can be difficult to answer on your own. The insights that emerge then form the basis for a focused conversation about possible next steps. The methodology combines a background in psychology, entrepreneurship, coaching and more than 20 years of experience in the music and cultural sectors. The structure is build around 3 layers, 10 dimensions and 50 questions.
INTERESTED IN A CAREER SCAN?
The Scan starts with a short introductory conversation. Together, we look at where you are today, what question lies underneath the surface and whether a scan is the right tool to help you move forward. If we feel the scan is a good fit for your needs, we’ll discuss the fee and next steps.
